Overview
Jain University Scholarship Test (JUST) is an aptitude test conducted to select eligible candidates for scholarship to the undergraduate engineering courses at Jain University. This year it will be held in online / offline mode in the month of April 2016. Candidates are required to submit the application form on or before 10 April 2016.

Jain University Scholarship Test (JUST) 2016
DeadlineClosed Eligibility B. Tech. (Regular)
Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.Course Duration: 4 years, 8 semesters
B. Tech. (Lateral Entry):
Through the lateral entry option, candidates are directly admitted to the third semester (2nd Year) of the B. Tech. degree programme at the School of Engineering and Technology. The candidate should have diploma or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution with 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in the final year examination. Provided further that they are required to clear the prescribed subjects as specified by Jain University.Course Duration: 3 years, 6 semesters

Terms and Conditions
JUST PROCESS
JUST 2016 for B.Tech. programme is conducted in the following modes
Online Test
It is a computer-based test which will be conducted in the month of April. The test is of 3 hours duration and is conducted in 2–3 sessions per day.
Note: JUST – 2016 for B.Tech programme is conducted only in online mode for outstation candidates.
Offline Test
It is a written test which will be conducted in the month of April. The test is of 3 hours duration and conducted at the following test centre.

Section 1: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry – 11th and 12th class CBSE questions
Section 2: 20 Questions from English Grammar

Test Duration
180 Minutes
Selection Process
Provisional admission is given based on the marks secured by the student in the JUST 2016, subject to the student satisfying the eligibility criteria of admission. All applicants who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) on or before the last day of completion of admission, failing which such provisional admission will stand cancelled.
