Ticket collector (TC) job is conducted by Railway Recruitment Board to fulfill the vacant seat available in the railway department.
Ticket collector is responsible for collecting ticket, checking ticket etc. They are the one who collects fine if someone is travelling without ticket.
Notification regarding vacancies will be published in leading dailies. Notifications can also be accessed from the various Railway Recruitment Board websites. The Railways has 17 Recruitment Boards which are constituted area-wise, who will conduct this recruitment process.
Candidates can apply for the written test online. Provision is given in the RRB’s official website. Candidates can also procure the application forms from specified centers. Candidates are required to pay the specified application fee. There is no application fee for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. Ex-Servicemen and physically challenged candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee. Filled in application forms have to be submitted to the Railway Recruitment Board.
