About The Program

UNU-IAS Master's Degree Programme Scholarship 2017 is a master of Science in Sustainability programme which is inviting students to contribute to solving challenges of sustainability. This programme integrates methods and resources from the natural and social sciences, as well as the humanities. Recent graduates, professionals and practitioners interested in the unique opportunity gain valuable skills are eligible to apply. The study period is two years and the programme starts in September, with students expected to complete all the requirements by July in the second academic year after enrollment.

  • Not more than 35 years of age
  • Must complete a graduate in one of the UNU-IAS research themes, focusing on global change and sustainability.
  • Must be from developing countries who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale and a sufficient level of English language proficiency.
