About The Program

The University of St Andrews has announced Library Visiting Scholarship Scheme 2018. Visiting scholarships are an opportunity for the candidates outside the University of St Andrews to research a topic from the special collections of the library.The collection is especially rich in the History of Science, Theology and Church History, Literary Studies and Photography.

The scholarships are open to all interested researchers outside the University of St Andrews.

Procedure to apply for the scholarship:
Step 1: Download the application form. 
Step 2: Fill in all the details.
Step 3: Attach all the required documents.

The complete application form should include:

  • Personal details
  • Details of the intended project to include: a title of the project, proposed start and end date, vision, methodology and intended for outputs (no more than 2 pages of A4).
  • An Updated CV
  • An up to date list of relevant publications
  • One reference in support of the application
