About The Program

The University of Edinburgh invites applications from students enrolling in a Ph.D. programme for Principal's Career Development Ph.D. Scholarship 2018. The scholarship offers a distinctive opportunity for postgraduate students to undertake a research in key areas like data science, teaching, public engagement, entrepreneurship, and research.

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -

  • Be starting his/her first years of research degree study in the academic year 2018-19.
  • Have already applied for an admission to full-time Ph.D. programme. (Note: For part-time study, the students need to have an approval of their respective school they wish to study in.)
  • Have good command over English language skills. 
  • Have obtained a minimum of 7.0 score or higher in IELTS within past two years.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through following steps -

Step 3: Fill in all required details. 
Step 4: Login again to complete the application process and upload supporting documents. 
Step 5: Complete the scholarship application and finally submit it.
