About The Program

University of Bristol Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme 2018 invites applications from masters degree applicants. The objective of the scholarship is to help students from developing Commonwealth countries so that they can study in the United Kingdom.

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed
  • Applicant must be from a developing Commonwealth country.  
  • Applicant must hold a degree of first or upper second class. 
  • Applicants must not be living or be studying in a developed country.
  • Applicants must fulfil the English language requirement as per UKBA Tier 4 regulations. 
  • Applicant must be applying for any of the following courses -
    • MSc in Water and Environmental Management
    • MSc in Transfusion and Transplantation Sciences
    • MSc in Public Health 
    • MSc in Climate Change Science and Policy 
    • MSc in Environmental Policy and Management
    • MSc in Education (Policy and International Development)
    • MSc in Development and Security
    • MSc in Gender and International Relations

 

Benefits

The University of Bristol Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme 2018 provides tuition fees, maintenance/ living cost stipend (£1,065 PCM), return flights, thesis grant, study travel grant (if applicable), a one-off arrival allowance (£410, 2017/18 figures).

Documents

Documents required for application: 

  • Applicants are required to sign an undertaking that they belong to a developing country, have not studied in any developed country, unable to pay to study in the UK, will return to their home county after the completion of course. 
  • English proficiency (to meet UKBA Tier 4 visa regulations)
