About The Program

The Sheffield Hallam University has introduced Transform Together Scholarships for international and EU (Non-UK) students who are starting a full-time taught course (either undergraduate or postgraduate) in 2018-19. The students who demonstrate excellent academic achievement will be awarded a 50% discount on the tuition fee.

To be eligible for the scholarship a candidate must -

  • Be an International or the European Union (non-UK) fee-paying student
  • Postgraduate only - have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in honors degree and must meet the English and academic entry requirements for the course.
  • Undergraduate only - have achieved or exceeded the English and academic entry requirements for the course. If awarded an undergraduate scholarship, the candidate must successfully complete each year of study to continue to receive the fee waiver.
  • Have accepted an offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University.
  • Be self-funding the studies
  • Be able to pay any additional fees for the course may require, for example, field trips.
How can you apply?

To apply for a Transform Together Scholarship, please follow these steps -
Step 1: Apply for a course at Sheffield Hallam and accept the offer for studying a course there. 
Step 2: Apply for a scholarship online using the link given by the closing date of 31 May 2018 - Transform Together Postgraduate Scholarship Application
Step 3: Fill in all necessary details
Step 4: Send all academic transcripts to transform@portal.shu.ac.uk by 31 May 2018.

More Details
Terms and Conditions

The candidates are not eligible to apply if they -

  • Are receiving funding for their studies from a sponsor or other scholarship provider
  • Are studying a Sheffield Hallam course at a partner institution, or
  • Have an offer for University's Graduate Diploma Business and English (pre-masters course) or International Foundation Programme in art, design, and media or business, law and social sciences. They can apply for a scholarship for the course that they will progress onto following successful completion of the preparation program.

What are the deadlines for submitting Transform Together scholarship application forms?
For courses starting in January 2018, scholarship applications are now closed.
For courses starting in September 2018, the deadline for applications is 31 May 2018.

The application form asks for my Sheffield Hallam University Student Identifier number – what is this?
Once a candidate has applied for a course and his/her application has been processed, he/she will receive an eight-digit Student Identifier (SI) number. To apply for a scholarship, the students will need to include their SI number in their application.
