About The Program

The University of Newcastle, Australia has announced a Ph.D. scholarship in Astrophysics. The scholarship is available for two students to study the astrophysics of high-mass star formation under the supervision of  Professor James Jackson.

Terms and Conditions

Award details-
The scholarship includes-

  • A stipend of 26,682 dollars (2017 rate, indexed in January each year). 
  • A laptop at the commencement of Ph.D. 
  • An additional establishment allowance of 1500 dollars, a thesis allowance of 500 dollars, and the potential for an additional APA Top-Up of 3500 dollars.
