About The Program

Anant National University invites applications for The Anant Fellowship 2017. The fellowship is aimed to prepare and empower solutionaries who design, build, and preserve more equitable and sustainable Built Environment in India. 

The Fellowship is open to students and practitioners from disciplines of architecture, design, planning, environmental science and engineering, civil and construction engineering.

Anant Fellowship is open to applicants, who are keen to take on key architectural, design, planning, and sustainability challenges facing India and the world.

Eligibility

  • Open to students and working professionals from all fields, with preference to those with a background in Architecture, Design, Planning, Environmental Science and Engineering, Civil and Construction Engineering
  • Candidates should have successfully completed their undergraduate degrees from recognised institutions with a sound academic and extra-curricular record
  • Open to both Indian and International Students.
  • Candidates should have successfully completed their undergraduate degrees from recognised institutions with a sound academic and extra-curricular record.

Length of Fellowship:One year (Eight Semesters)

How can you apply?

Step 1- Complete and submit Anant Fellowship online application.

Applicants can also email the application form along with relevant documents to fellowship@anu.edu.in with the subject line "Application for 2018 Cohort".

Step 2- Have the following documents ready.

  • Statement of Purpose : The Statement of Purpose should contain the appplicants' reasons for applying to the Anant Fellowship, preparation for 'Built Environment' field of study and why the fellowship is a good fit for the applicant. The applicant may indicate a potential area of problem inquiry and/or research interests, professional plans and career goals. Be specific and concise in the document and be sure to keep a copy for your records. For tips on writing a good Statement of Purpose, click here
  • Resume: Resumes are required of all applicants. Please upload your resume in the online application. 
  • Work Sample : If you have a soft-copy sample of your work portfolio you can upload it online. If you don’t, then you can carry the sample with you when you are invited for the personal interview. 
  • Other requirements: At later stages of the admission process you would be required to furnish some additional documents or information. Please see a list of those below. We will inform you when you need to share: 
    • Three References from people who have supervised you in an academic, employment, or community service setting.
    • School, College, University Transcripts
