In order to be eligible for this scholarship, a student must-
- Be Masters in Physical Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Biochemistry/Bioprocess Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Biological Sciences with minimum an aggregate of 65%.
- Have valid IELTS scores.(Overall Band 6.5 / Individual bands not less than 6)
Note - CSIR-UGC/NET qualified applications are preferred.

Award details-
- Joint supervision will be provided to scholars by Deakin and TERI faculties.
- The student will receive a full Tuition fee waiver from Deakin University, Australia.
- Based on needs, students will have an option to work at Deakin University, Australia for a period of up to six months to fulfill requirement of their research work.
- TERI Deakin will offer fellowship at par to CSIR-UGC-NET.(Note- HRA will be admissible at 30 percent of the fellowship amount)
- Students will be provided hostel facility on campus for the entire duration of the program.(Note- Hostel facility will be available to limited students on first cum first serve basis)
