About The Program

The Type Directors Club and Monotype invite applications for the TDC Beatrice Warde Scholarship 2018 from the meritorious undergraduate girl candidates who are interested in typography. The aim of this scholarship is to encourage the best use of technology by demonstrating the application of typography.

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -

  • be a women candidate.
  • love the art of expression by the application of typography to current media, and not only print.
  • be academically good, i.e., the grade card must obtain grade B or more.
How can you apply?

In order to apply, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Download the application form.
Step 2: Take a print out.
Step 3: Completely fill the form.
Step 4: Scan and email it to director@tdc.org along with the following documents

  • Statement of purpose.
  • 3 (Three) samples of work completed at the time of school/university.
  • A grade card.
  • A signed statement to provide the proof of own work.
  • Letters of recommendation.
