About The Program

International Higher Education Scholarship Program invites applications for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2017. It provides scholarships for higher education (undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. programs) in cooperation with renowned partner universities in Taiwan. The scholarship covers a full scholarship, return airfare, housing, tuition, credit fees, insurance, textbook costs and a monthly allowance. This year there are 31 programs offered for TaiwanICDF Scholarship application.

  • Class 12 passed, graduates, post graduates
  • Be able to satisfy all requirements for a Resident Visa (Code: FS) set by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) set by the Ministry of the Interior, of the ROC (Taiwan) government (this means that the TaiwanICDF has the right to revoke a scholarship offered if an applicant cannot satisfy the visa requirements).
  • Not be applying for a further TaiwanICDF scholarship in unbroken succession — applicants who have already held a TaiwanICDF scholarship, MOFA’s Taiwan Scholarship or an MOE scholarship must have returned to their home country for more than one year before re-applying (note: to apply for a 2017 scholarship, an applicant must have graduated and returned to his or her home country before July 31, 2016).
  • Applicants must also meet the Regulations Governing Visiting, Resident, and Permanent Residency of Aliens set by ROC(Taiwan) National Immigration Agency.

Step 5: Now, write that account number to start filling the form.

Q. Can I apply to more than one program at the TICA universities?
A.
No. You can only apply for one program at one of the TICA universities each year.

Q. I realized that my printed form has some mistakes, what should I do?
A
. If you discover any mistakes or typos in your printed form, you can apply again (please remember to type carefully). However, you will need to take your final, corrected forms to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate (General)/ Representative Office for their first review. 
Please be aware that your printed forms must be identical to the information you saved in the online system, since the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate (General)/ Representative Office may refer to both versions during their first review.

Q. What if I cannot apply for TaiwanICDF scholarship program due to my nationality?
A.
We only offer TaiwanICDF scholarships to citizens of nations in our list of eligible countries. If your country does not appear on our list, you are not currently eligible to apply.
