About The Program
Summer School Fellowship Program 2017 is an opportunity provided by the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) to the students of final year M.Sc. Physics/B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical and Electrical) to spend 6 weeks of summer vacation at IPR. In this program, students can learn about Plasma (matter in an ionised state) and its applications in nuclear fusion and industries. The course comprises of lectures on plasma science, fusion and industrial technologies, and a short project related to Plasma Science/Technology. The students will have to work on a specific project in association with a faculty member of the institute. The selected students will get accommodation, travel allowance and stipend 10500.

Final year M.Sc. Physics/B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical and Electrical) are eligible to apply.

The application can be done online and then post with the following steps:
Step 1: Fill the online application.
Step 2: On successful submission of the online form, you will receive an email with your filled up application form as an attachment.
Step 3: Take a print of that attached document.
Step 4: The hard copy of the same, duly signed and forwarded by the head of your institution or department and along with the photocopies of all the required mark sheets and supporting documents relevant
to your honours and medals.
