About The Program

Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellowship 2017 invites application for the students of medicine, biosciences, engineering, computer science, product design, business who have the ambition to become leaders in health technology innovation with an objective to learn a proven, project-based approach to identify important unmet medical needs, develop innovative diagnostics, devices, or other health technologies and prepare to bring products into patient care through start-up, corporate or other implementation channels and selected fellows will get a stipend $ 50000 pa, $1000 laptop allowance, insurance coverage.

  • Students of medicine, biosciences, engineering, computer science, product design, business are eligible to apply.
  • Students who have the ambition to become leaders in health technology innovation are preferred.
How can you apply?

The application can be done online with the following steps:
Step 1:
Fill the application form.
Step 2: Attach the required documents.
Step 3: Now designate 3 people to submit 1-page letters of recommendation.
Step 4: Pay a $ 95 application fee.
Step 5: Submit.

 

Terms and Conditions

Documents to be attached:

  • Resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Photocopy of your most recent diploma.
  • Photocopy of a transcript from your two most recent degree programs.
  • Photocopy of national/state boards or qualifying any exam.
  • Write an essay of 2-page (minimum font size 11, no spacing or margin requirements).
  • Create a 1-2 minute video essay.
  • Letters of recommendation provide information about 3 people who will provide 1-page on applicant behalf (name, title, institution, phone, email, relationship, and a personal note from the applicant requesting these references).
  • 1 letter should be from one of the most recent program director or manager.
