About The Program

SIA Youth Scholarship 2018 is organized by Ministry of Education, Singapore. It invites application from class 10 passed students. This scholarship is sustainable for 2 years of Pre-University studies in selected Singapore Junior Colleges. The selected students will receive annual allowance with hostel accommodation, medical benefits, and accident insurance cover.

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed
  • Students who have completed class 10 in 2017
  • Should be Indian Nationals
  • Should be born between 1999 and 2001
  • Possess outstanding academic track record (at least an average of 85% or minimum A with English as the first language in Class 10 State/National examinations)
How can you apply?

The application can be done online and then by post with the following steps:
Step 1:
 Click on the online application system.
Step 2: Now, click to register.
Step 3: Select the scholarship you are applying for and continue.
Step 4: Fill the application form.
Step 5: Register.
Step 6: Now, all students have to send certified or endorsed copies of the required documents, directly to the Singapore Ministry of Education.

Terms and Conditions

Date:

  • Application period: 12 June 2017 to 16 July 2017
  • Selection test: End August 2017
  • Selection interview: September or October 2017
  • Award of scholarship: Mid to late November 2017
  • Arrival of Scholar in Singapore: Mid January 2017

Note:

  • Original documents that are not in English must be translated into English.
  • The translated documents must be accompanied by a photocopy of the original documents.
  • Do not send any original documents as it will not be returned.
  • There will be no acknowledgement of receipt of documents.
  • Applications without the complete set of documentation will be disqualified.  

Documents required to be attached:

  • Birth certificate
  • Identity card or passport (if any)
  • Final examination result for the last 2-years (class 9 final examination and class 10 State/National examinations)
