Social Justice & Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra announces the Scholarship and Technical Education to Handicapped Students 2017-18 for the students having 40 percent or more percentage of disabilities. The aim of this scholarship is to encourage the persons with disabilities towards higher education.

Note- For renewal of the scholarship, an applicant must have to pass the previous examination.
In order to apply for this freeship, follow the steps given below-
Step 1: Click here to register as a new user. (Note: Candidate should have a mobile number registered with their Aadhaar card to ensure seamless and fast application process.)
Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.
Step 3: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 4: Complete the registration process by filling in all required details.
Step 5: Log in using username or password.
Step 6: Complete the application process for the scholarship.
Award details-
Band A-
The hosteller will get INR 1200 and the day scholars will get INR 550.
Band B-
The hosteller will get INR 820 and the day scholars will get INR 530.
Band C-
The hosteller will get INR 820 and the day scholars will get INR 530.
Band D-
The hosteller will get INR 570 and the day scholars will get INR 300.
Band E-
The hosteller will get INR 380 and the day scholars will get INR 230.
