About The Program

RMIT University, Vietnam invites applications for the Ph.D. scholarship from the female applicants enrolling into the Ph.D. program. The aim of providing this scholarship is to support the female researchers in pursuing excellence in research while promoting the academic and career goals.

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must-

  • Have the Masters degree in research.
  • Have met the English language requirement of an IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
  • Have a strong Ph.D. research proposal.

Note-

  • The current RMIT employees, current Ph.D. students or former Ph.D. students will not be eligible.
  • In case of having any one of the above eligibilities, the applicant must contain previous publications or significant research experience to be eligible.

The application can be done either by post or by sending an email.

Terms and Conditions

Documents required-

  • Ph.D. application form.
  • Certified copy of National ID or passport.
  • Certified or original copies of academic transcripts and graduation certificates for all programs, currently or previously enrolled in.
  • Curriculum Vitae in English.
  • Evidence of English language proficiency.
  • Any documentation relating to selection tasks. For eg- pre-selection kits, folios etc.
  • Curriculum Vitae in English.
  • A statement from the employer describing the working arrangements during the candidature.
  • The ph.d. research proposal with two research supervisor names.
  • Two photographs. Note- The dimension should be 3x4 cm and taken within the last six months.
  • Receipt of non-refundable application fee of 2.240.000 VND.
  • Ph.D. research proposal with two research supervisor names
  • Other documents as per the instructions in the Ph.D. application form.

Note-There should be the English translation of the documents and the documents submitted will not be returned.

Value and duration-

  • The duration of the program is three years full time and it can further be extended up to six months in the case of satisfactory progress and center approval.
  • The successful applicants will get a discount of 50 percent in their tuition fees.
