About The Program

Rally for Rivers, a nationwide campaign conceived by Sadhguru and supported by INOX, is organising an online video submission contest on the theme 'Rivers of India'. This contest aims to engage and create awareness among the youth and college-going students about the revival of our rivers, and also garner public support for the cause through participants' videos.

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed
  • All college-going students are eligible to participate in this contest.
  • The theme around which the video should be based on is 'Rivers of India'.
  • Video should not be longer than 10 min, with a 5-second flexibility.
  • Should be new and creative.
How can you apply?

In order to apply, follow the steps given below-

Step 1- Click here and then click on 'Upload your video'.

Step 2- Register by entering the full name and valid email id. Then, confirm the OTP send to the given email id. Note- One can also use Facebook Account or Google Account for registering.

Step 3- Once registered, submit the video after filling all the mandatory details.

Terms and Conditions

Theme-

  • The theme of the video will be 'Rivers of India'. Note- Submit a documentary or music video or anything else that surprises the panel of judges.
  • Music video must use the 'Nadi Stuti'.

Judgment Criteria -

  • The uploaded entries will be open for voting online.
  • The contestant will get 100 points for the uploading the video.
  • Each Facebook like / website vote will give 20 points.
  • Each Facebook share will give 40 points.
  • Based on the number of votes/likes received, the top 10 videos will be shortlisted. These videos will be posted and promoted on different social media platforms by the Online Video Submission organisers. 
  • INOX will host the culmination event to decide the winners.
  • An expert panel will evaluate the final videos based on the following factors -
    • Message and appropriateness to theme.
    • Creativity and originality.
    • Overall presentation.
    • Popularity with the audience.
  • Eminent Panelists include Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Prahlad Kakar and Shekhar Kapur.

Prizes -

Winners will be awarded cash prizes as follows-

  • First Prize will be of INR 3,00,000.
  • Second Prize will be of INR 1,00,000.
  • Third Prize will be of INR 50,000.
  • Weekly Prize will be of INR 10,000.
  • The First Prize Winner will get an opportunity to produce a film using the prize money under the guidance of one of the eminent panelist directors. The top 10 entries will be showcased by INOX Cinemas Network. National Geographic Channel (NGC) will also promote the top entries on their digital properties.
  • Weekly Winners will be decided on the basis of voting. The video which gets the maximum votes from 00:00:01 Monday to 23:59:59 every Sunday will be declared as a Weekly Winner.
  • If a video wins in a particular week, it will not qualify again for the Weekly Winners Contest. All other entries (except for the Weekly Winner) will continue to be eligible for voting in the following weeks. However, Weekly Winners will be eligible for the top 10 list based on the overall number of votes received.
