About The Program

R&D Systems a bio-techne brand has announced a scholarship programme and is proud to support students pursuing a degree in a science-related field. The students will be awarded a USD1500 or international currency equivalent for the spring semester. 

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must have major declared in a science-related field.
  • Must be accepted for enrollment or enrolled for graduate, associate degree, baccalaureate or a diploma program. 

 

How can you apply?

In order to apply, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click on this link.

Step 2: Fill in all the details.

Step 3: Submit all college/post-secondary coursework transcript (if high school student, submit high school transcript).

Step 4: Submit a written statement addressing the following topics:

  • Submit a 140 character statement/tweet on your favorite invention.
  • Write a personal statement of 500 words or less on how you plan to use your degree to further advance science in your field of interest.

Step 5: Finally, click the submit button.

Terms and conditions:

  • Bio-Techne employees and family members are not eligible for the scholarship.
  • Students currently enrolled/accepted at an institution are eligible to apply (Ph.D., baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma).
  • Student Id number will be required in order for the scholarships to be paid to the recipient’s listed university.
  • The selection committee will be selecting the scholarship recipient.
  • The application form must be fully filled.

Q. Do I need to submit official transcripts?
A. No, it will be accepted either officially or unofficially.

Q. Are the written statements required?
A. Yes, both topics listed are required. There is no word count for the list and it can be formatted accordingly.

Q. Do I need to email or mail this in?

Q. What majors qualify?
A. Any science related major. 

Q. What is the fee?
A. There is no fee.

Q. When will you send me the check?                                                                                                                                              A. If selected, the check will be sent directly to the university listed in the application to disperse.
