About The Program

The University of Queensland invites applications for the Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships 2018 to cover 50% of tuition fees (approx AUD 16,640 per year, student services and amenities fee) in the Master of Biotechnology, Master of Molecular Biology or Master of Bioinformatics programs. The deadline for the Semester 1 commences in February 2018 is 31st October 2017 and for  Semester 2 commences in July is 31st March 2018. Total six students will get the scholarship for this year.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • Graduates in Science stream only
  • The applicant has to submit an application to the Head of School; School of Chemistry & Molecular Biosciences
  • Must have scored at least 80% over 7 semesters in graduation or 75% over 8 semesters in India
  • Can get a student visa

Selection process

  1. A selection committee comprising a minimum of three directors.
  2. The scholarship will be given to the meritorious applicants by scrutinizing these areas:
    • academic achievement in graduation
    • interest demonstrated in the field of postgraduation
    • having leadership quality
    • other qualities
