Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Economics 2017 is inviting for a post-doctoral fellowship position in Economics, valid for one academic year, July 2017 through May 2018 to the students who have completed PhD degree from the Indian or foreign university. Young researchers are encouraged to apply for this position. The selected students will be paid a stipend of Rs 40000 per month and will have free accommodation at the IEG. The student will be expected to participate in the regular academic activities of the CDE and IEG, especially presentation and attendance in seminars and conferences, contribute to the working paper series, as well as interact with the faculty of both institutions on research issues of mutual interest.
The application can be done by email with the following steps:
Step 1: Give Curriculum Vitae, copies of not more than 3 best published or unpublished papers.
Step 2: Also give names of 3 referees and the copy of PhD certificate.
Step 3: Email it.
Documents to be attached:
Students who have submitted their dissertation but have not yet had their viva should provide a letter from concerned authorities as proof of submission.
