About The Program
National Bioscience Award for Career Development 2018 is a scholarship scheme for Indian citizens engaged in basic and applied research in the areas of biosciences and biotechnology in the country.
EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen, who is engaged in basic and applied research in the areas of biosciences and biotechnology in the country.
- Candidate must have made a significant and outstanding contribution in the areas of biosciences/biotechnology during last 5 years and the work must have been done entirely in India.
- Candidate must have submitted a research project for the advancement of his/her work in India for a period of next 3 years.
- The age of the candidate must be less than 45 years.
Benefits
- Up to 10 awards will be given every year to the suitable candidates.
- Each award carries a cash prize of INR 2 Lac along with a project research grant of INR 15 Lac @ INR 5 Lac per year for a period of three years for career development and a citation.
