About The Program

The University of Queensland, Australia has announced Master of Leadership in Global Development International Scholarship for graduate students. The objective of this scholarship is to promote and motivate the international students belonging to low to middle-income countries. 

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed

In order to be eligible, an applicant must-

  • Be an international applicant.
  • Have applied for Master of Leadership in Global Development program and meets all the entry requirements for the program.
  • Be educationally disadvantaged due to financial hardships.
  • Have frontline experience of working on development projects.
  • Show interest in a continued career in the development sector.
  • Show leadership potential, be involved in community service and engagement.

Award Details:

The total amount of the scholarship is AUD 36,688 (indexed annually) and it will cover either-
a) Full tuition fees for the MLGD program for the year for which it is held,

Or
b) A living allowance, visa application fees, a travel & establishment grant, Standard Overseas Student Health (OSHC) cover and the UQ Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF).

Selection criteria-
The selection of the candidates will be done by the selection committee which will be comprised of-

  • The nominee or the head as Chair of the committee.
  • The Program Director of the MLGD program and
  • One representative from the university's academic staff currently teaching into the program.
