For Prathibha Scholarship-A (B.Sc. Degree Course / First 3 years of Integrated M.Sc. Course), A candidate must-
- Be of Kerala origin.
- Have qualified with minimum aggregate marks of 95% or equivalent grade for all subjects and minimum 95% aggregate marks or equivalent grade for all science subjects for the Higher Secondary Board Examination in any of the Boards namely viz., CISCE/CBSE/State Board from Kerala.
- For SC/ST students, the eligibility is minimum aggregate marks of 90% or equivalent grade for all subjects and minimum 90% aggregate marks or equivalent grade for all science subjects for the Higher Secondary Board Examination.
For Prathibha Scholarship-B (M.Sc. Degree Course/ 4th and 5th years of Integrated M.Sc.Degree Course), A candidate must-
- Have availed Prathibha Scholarship during all three years of B.Sc. Degree Course/ first 3 years of Integrated M.Sc. course.
- Have secured minimum 75 % marks in aggregate for B.Sc.Degree course/ first 3 years of Integrated M.Sc. Course.
- Have secured admission to M.Sc. Degree course in the subsequent year itself on completion of B.Sc. Degree course.

- The scheme also offers opportunities for attending Science Enrichment Programmes and summer internships in reputed national and state level R&D institutions in the State.
- Eight Prathibha Scholars (two scholars in each of the disciplines- Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics) are eligible to be considered for summer programs at IISER-Trivandrum without screening test.
- The scheme ensures at least 50% of the selection for girl students. 10% of the selection is reserved for SC/ST students.
Award details-
Scholarship amount for B.Sc. Degree Course/ First 3 years of Integrated M.Sc. course-
- RS.12,000 for the first year.
- Rs.18,000 for the second year.
- Rs.24,000 for the third year.
Scholarship amount for M.Sc. Course-
- Rs.40,000 for first year/fourth year of Integrated M.Sc.
- Rs.60,000 for second year/fifth year of integrated M.Sc.
Note-
- Continuation of the scholarship for the Post graduate course is subject to securing minimum 75% mark for Degree course.
- Duration of degree and post graduate course are three and two years respectively.
