About The Program

The JM Sethia Charitable Trust invites applications from individuals of Class- 9 to 12, Graduates and Post-graduates for Merit Scholarship awarded every year to students pursuing full-time course only. 

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed

The students under following categories are eligible for the scholarship -
Category A: For 9th and 10th class with 75% aggregate in class 8th 
Category B: For 11th and 12th class with 75% aggregate in class 10th 
Category C: For Graduation with 75% aggregate (in Science/Commerce stream) and 65% aggregate (in Humanities/Arts) in 12th.
Category D: For Post-graduation with 60% aggregate (in Science & Commerce) and 50% aggregate (in Humanities/Arts) in graduation.

 

How can you apply?

The candidates need to adopt the following application procedure to apply for the scholarship -
Step 1: Download application form from here. 
Step 2: Read all instructions carefully and fill in all necessary details 
Step 3: Attach attested copies of supporting documents (Certificates/Mark Sheets)
Step 4: Send the completed application form to -

Terms and Conditions

Number of scholarships category wise and amount -

  • Category A- 15, INR 400 per month to each for 2 years (Students of class X will receive scholarship for 1 year)
  • Category B- 15, INR 500 per month to each for 2 years (Students of class XII will receive scholarship for 1 year)
  • Category C- 10, INR 600 per month to each for 2 or 3 years as applicable (Students pursuing 2/3 year of graduation will receive scholarship for 2/1 years)
  • Category D- 10, INR 700 per month to each for 2 or 3 years as applicable (as applicable for students of graduation)

20% Scholarships in each category are reserved for -

  • Special category - handicapped
  • Excellence extra-curricular activities like sports, NCC 'B' certificate holder debating, dramatics & social services
  • Economically weaker section- of those students whose parents Annual income is not more than INR 1,20,000.
