About The Program

International Medical Scholarship Eligibility Test(IM-SET) 2018 is a scholarship test for medical aspirants of Indian origin. The scholarship is for Class 12th students of Private, Government and Government aided schools of any medium or boards in Indian Territory.

  • Candidate must be a student of Class 12th of Private, Government and Government aided schools of any medium or boards in Indian Territory.
  • Students of schools located outside India and affiliated to CBSE board are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have passed their class 12th in or after 2015 are also eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Benefits

Award Details:

For Category 1 (IM-SET Top Performers):

  • Top 3 students scoring IM-SET score, and aggregate 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12 will be awarded 100% scholarship in tuition fee for the medical studies program.
  • Next 5 students scoring IM-SET score of at least 70% and aggregate 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12 will be awarded 50% scholarship in tuition fee for the medical studies program.

For Category 2 (those who qualify IM-SET):

  • 30% Scholarship in tuition fee will be awarded for the medical studies program to all students that qualify IM-SET and have obtained 90% or more aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12.
  • 25% Scholarship in tuition fee will be awarded for the medical studies program to all students that qualify IM-SET and have obtained 80% or more aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12.
  • 20% Scholarship in tuition fee will be awarded for the medical studies program to all students that qualify IM-SET and have obtained 70% or more aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12.

Procedure to apply for the scholarship:
Step 1: Open link to apply for the scholarship.
Step 2: Register as a new user.
Step 3: Fill in all the details.
Step 4: Attach all the required documents.
Step 5: Submit the application form.

Important Dates

Last Date for Registration: 14th April 2018 (midnight)

Test Date:  15th April 2018

                   Slot-I: 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon

                   Slot-II: 04:30 PM to 06:00 PM

Result Declaration: 20th April 2018

Verification & Scholarship Allotment: 25th to 28th April 2018

Selection Criteria
  • 500 of the best performers will be called for a personal interview and documents verification to any of the twelve centers (Delhi, Lucknow, Patna, Kota, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, and Pune). Thereafter, the verified candidates will be allotted a letter of scholarship.
  • The selected students will undergo a day of exposure to leading educators and luminaries in the fields of medicine, to help develop a broader perspective of the science and opportunities in medicine.
Terms and Conditions
  • The minimum qualifying percentage for the scholarship eligibility test is 50%.
  • The Scholarship will be applicable to the Pre-Medical program and Basic Sciences program during the course of study.
