About The Program

The applications are invited for the India Post Independence Day Photography Competition 2017. The theme for this year will be ‘Beautiful India’. The photography should be the original work printed on an A-4 size sheet paper and a soft copy must be maintained on a CD. Prize winning entries will be used for stamp designing and other philatelic items.

  • Age must be 18 years or more
  • Candidate can send only one photograph
  • The photograph should be such that it can be used on the stamps
  • The photograph should not be such that it ridicule or hurt the sentiments of anyone
How can you apply?

The application can be done by post or by email with the following steps:

Step 1: Download the document.

Step 2: The photograph along with the CD of the image should be sent through “Speed Post” in A4 size envelope, clearly written “Photography Competition - Independence Day 2017”. The entries may also be emailed at philatelycompetition@gmail.com.
