About The Program

India-Korea Friendship Essay Competition 2017 invites application for students of junior class 7 to 9 to write an essay on 'what I like about South Korea' in 150 to 300 words and the senior class 10 to 12 on 'why I want to visit South Korea' in 300 to 500 words. The winners can win a free trip to Korea, up to INR 20000. The awards will be distributed to winners at an award ceremony in Delhi.

  • Students of class 7 to 12 are eligible to apply
How can you apply?

The application can be done by post or by email with the following steps:
Step 1: Write an essay on the topic for class 7th to 9th 'what I like about South Korea' in 150 to 300 words (essay should be handwritten or typed in English).
Step 2: Write an essay on the topic for class 10th to 12th 'why I want to visit South Korea' in 300 to 500 words (essay should be handwritten or typed in English).
Step 3: Now email it or send it to the given address:

For the junior group:

  • 1st: INR 20000
  • 2nd (a): INR 10000
  • 2nd (b): INR 10000
  • 3rd (a): INR 5000

  • Special Prizes (15): INR 1000

For the senior group:

  • 1st: Free Trip to Korea
  • 2nd (a): Free Trip to Korea
  • 2nd (b): Free Trip to Korea
  • 3rd (a): INR 5000
  • 3rd (b): INR 5000
  • 3rd (c): INR 5000
  • Special Prizes (17): INR 2000

Important:

  • The decision of judges will be final & no review request will be entertained.
  • Travel will be paid to winners for participation in an award ceremony in Delhi.
  • Travel paid for top 3 winners. Only for winners outside Delhi NCR.
  • Maximum INR 10000 for Air Fare on presenting the actual ticket.
  • Maximum INR 5000 for Train Fare on presenting the actual ticket.
  • No Participation Fee or any other Fee at any stage.
  • Free Trip to Korea for winners will be of 6 Days/5 Nights.
