About The Program
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore invites applications for the IISc Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering 2017. Selected candidates will have to work with a faculty of IISc., to learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month during June-July 2017. Candidate will get travel allowance (sleeper 2nd Class) from nearest station of college/residence to IISc. and back, accommodation and meals at IISc. Each fellow will receive a stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month and a book grant of Rs. 1500.

- 1st-year M.Sc in Science disciplines (Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).

- 3rd-year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree.
