About The Program

Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) has announced the International Scholarship 2017 contest for the undergraduate course. This contest will provide young creatives, an opportunity to convert their ideas into projects and win 24 scholarships covering 50 percent of the tuition fees for the Undergraduate Courses in Design, Fashion, Visual Arts and Communication in the countries like Milan, Barcelona, Florence, Madrid, Rome, and Turin.

In order to be eligible, an applicant must-

  • Belongs to the age group of 18 to 26 years by December 26th, 2018.
  • Have completed high school diploma by September 2018.
  • Have the proficiency in the language of the course at minimum level B2.

Note- The IED employees and consultants are not allowed to take part in the Contest.

How can you apply?

To apply for the scholarship, follow the steps given below-
Step 1- Click here and read the regulations carefully.
Step 2- Choose the course and other details. Note- A confirmation mail containing credentials for the personal area will be sent to the registered email. 
Step 3- Open the mail and click on the link given there. Note- It will redirect to the application page.
Step 4- Fill in all the credentials and upload the required documents.
Step 5- Submit the application.
Note- In case of winning the scholarship, 3 days to confirm the acceptance and 5 days to complete the application at IED will be given to the applicant.

Terms and Conditions

Documents required-

  • Copy of ID card or passport.
  • Certificate of knowledge of the language of the course applied (B2 as minimum level required).
  • The concept as described in the briefing.

Points to consider-

  • The contest is exclusively for the countries- Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Germany, France, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador,Peru, Turkey,  Egypt, Lebanon, CIS Countries, Korea, India, and Indonesia.
  • The images, pictures, scans or painting uploaded by the contestant to express their creativity must be connected with the ideas and motivations expressed in his/her presentation letter.
  • All the materials must be included in only one .pdf or .docx file of maximum 8 MB.

Award details- 

  • The total number of scholarships provided will be 24.
  • The scholarship will cover 50% of the tuition fee for the chosen courses.
  • Enrolment fee, housing, and all other costs will be covered by the winners.
  • The assigned scholarship will be approved for the consecutive years if the student will pass all the exams of the yearly study-plan with a GPA of 28/30.
