About The Program

G.P. Birla Education Foundation Scholarship 2017 invites application from students who have passed class 12 in 2017from West Bengal. The objective of this program is to promote education, develop human resources and empower the youth of the country. The selected students will receive INR 50000 per annum, onetime payment of INR 7000 towards the purchase of books.

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed
  • Open to West Bengal students only
  • Should have passed class 12th in 2017
  • Have secured 80% marks or more from State Board or 85% or more from Central Board
  • Have secured rank in top 15000 in AIEEE/JEE/AIPMT Tests
  • Further studies may be in any stream: Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship, and Cost Accountancy Course in any recognized University/Institution in India

Selection procedure:

  • Students for Scholarship, an Expert Panel of the Trust will review the applications received and interview shortlisted prospective students
  • The decision of the Expert Panel will be final
  • Applications may be forwarded through the Head of the Institution from which the student has passed class 12 or where she/he has taken admission
