About The Program

This scholarship is awarded to children of ESM, suffering from 100% disability caused naturally, through accident or through disease. It is awarded through Kendriya Sainik Board which looks after the resettlement and rehabilitation of ESM (Ex-Servicemen)/ widows and their dependents.

 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

The following is the eligibility criteria:

  • Only Legitimate children of ESM/ Widow can apply
  • ESM rank should be of Havildar or equivalent of Navy/ Air Force and below
  • The child should be 100% disabled
  • The child should not be currently enrolled in any other disability benefit from any other official agency
  • The child should be recommended by the respective Zila Sainik Board (ZSB)

 

How can you apply?

Step 1: Click here to begin the registration process
Step 2: Upload your image in jpeg/jpg/gif/png format (image should be less than 1 MB)
Step 3: Enter your personal details
Step 4: Enter details related to service in armed forces- like Ex-Serviceman I.D. card, type of service of ESM, the rank of ESM, concerned RSB, ZSB with which ESM is registered, Aadhar card number, date of enrollment, date of discharge, etc. This completes part 1 of the application
Step 5: Part 2 of the application has residential details and bank account details which need to be filled
Step 6: Enter the verification code required to submit the form
Step 7: After submission of the form, please follow the further steps as instructed on the website

List of Documents:

The following documents duly attested by ZSWO must be submitted along with the only application form

  • Recommendation from Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO)
  • Photocopy of discharge book (with child's entry on it)
  • ESM and dependent identity card issued by ZSB
  • 100% disability certificate issued by Military / Govt hospital
  • Bank account details(in PNB/SBI only) and IFS Code
