About The Program

BTSE (Bihar Talent Search Examination) 2017 is an examination for Bihar students. The scholarship will be given to those students who qualify the BTSE in 2017. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students.

Application procedure to apply online:

Step 1: Go to the official site
Step 2:  Click on the 'apply now' link, for the class user wants to apply
Step 3: Register as new user
Step 4: Fill in all the necessary details
Step 5: Attach all the required documents
Step 6: Finally Submit the form

Documents Required:
  • The Scholarship amount will be transferred to the guardian/Parents of the students.
  • Candidate should bring their Identity card provided by the school or provided by govt.
  • Recent authentic non-creamy layer certificate is required for OBC candidates (not more than 1-year-old)
  • Documents in support of SC/ST/OBC/physically handicap certificate shall be attested by the institute’s principal or by gazetted officer only.Copies attested by notary public will not be accepted.
  • Blank sheet will be provided for rough use, so no other paper will be allowed to carry in examination hall
  • SC/ST/OBC/physically handicapped certificate should be in Hindi and English both.
  • All other attachments shall be self-attested by the candidate.
  • All the above document shall be clear and readable only be accepted.

Q. What is the last date for submitting applications online and offline?
A. Closure dates for acceptance of various scholarship applications are available in BTSE portal.

Q. How can I apply online for the scholarship?
A. Please visit the website through http://btse.org.in/

Q. Should I need the user id and password to apply for the scholarship?
A. Applying procedures for Scholarship Schemes for both Fresh and Renewal are given below: Fresh: 1st step - Student have to go with the option “apply now”, on the home page of BTSE. Fill up the application as per the instructions are given by the system then click on save button. After saving, the student will get a “Temporary ID”. The system will instruct the applicant to submit his/her Temporary ID and password to fill subsequent details. Once registration is complete on click of submit button, a Registration ID is generated which can be used for Renewal and be tracking the status of the application.

Q. Can candidate can edit the information already saved and up-to what time?
A. All the information can be edited until the closure of application form. Correction(s)/modification(s) would be allowed for a certain period at later date wi an h penalty. The dates for corrections will be notified to each and every applicant. 

Q. Which fields in the application form are mandatory?
A. Fields provided with a red asterisk (*) mark are mandatory fields.

Q. How and when will I know whether my application is selected or rejected?
A. Status of application can be checked by mail or by online BTSE portal
