About The Program

Ajmal National Talent Search Scholarship Exam 2017 aim is to identify the meritorious students of class 3 to graduation to encourage them by giving up to Rs 5000 cash awards and other incentives to further improve and hone their talents. This scholarship provides financial assistance to the educational institutions and poor students, organising coaching classes for competitive examinations, health care, relief and rehabilitation, environmental promotion etc. This exam envisages to motivate students in the North Eastern states towards inculcating a competitive spirit.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • Students of class 3 to graduation are eligible to apply.
  • Students of B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, Law, Engineering, Medical, Management and Computer Science are eligible to apply.
How can you apply?

The application can be done by post with the following steps:
Step 1: Download the form.
Step 2: Fill the form.
Step 3: Submit to the coordinator of the centre who is to collect the exam fees from the individual candidates and make a single DD for the total amount collected in favour of  Ajmal Foundation-A/C No: 11284630800 (Payable at SBI, Hojai Branch Code- 02065, IFSC-SBIN0002065).
Step 4: Send it to the address:

Terms and Conditions

Exam Pattern:

  • Class wise exam up to class 10th with objective type multiple choice questions.
  • One combined paper for class 11 and 12.
  • One combined paper for B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., 1st, 2nd, 3rd year and others.

Syllabus:

  • Up to 10th mostly, prescribed by state & central syllabi
  • For 11, 12, graduation conforming to the UPSC and APSC General Studies Pattern.

Medium:

  • English, Assamese & Bengali (up to class 12th)
  • English (for Degree Students)
  • Last Date of Receiving Forms: 10th April 2017
  • Date & Time of Exam: 14th May 2017 (Sunday) 11 a.m. To 1 p.m.
  • Date of Declaration of Results: 31st August 2017

Ajmal toppers (80 Ranks from Class 3 to 10 and 6 Ranks from 11 to Degree):

  • The 1st rank holder in each class will get of Rs 5000
  • The 2nd rank holder in each class will get of Rs 4500
  • The 3rd rank holder in each class will get of Rs 4000
  • The 4th rank holder in each class will get of Rs.3500
  • The 5th rank holder in each class will get of Rs.3000
  • The 6th rank holder in each class will get of Rs.2500
  • The 7th rank holder in each class will get of Rs.2000
  • The 8th rank holder in each class will get of Rs.1700
  • The 9th rank holder in each class will get of Rs.1500
  • The 10th rank holder in each class will get of Rs.1000

Ajmal stars:
After Rank, the next 100 students in order of marks irrespective of the class will be awarded Ajmal Stars of Rs 400.

Ajmal Achievers:
After Star, the next 1000 students in order of marks irrespective of the class will be awarded Ajmal Achievers of Rs. 300.

Ajmal Promisers:
Minimum of 15% of students in order of marks in each ANTSE Center will be eligible for consolation prize Rs 200, subject to the condition that this 15% includes other rank holders, stars and achievers. This is to encourage students in every centre, especially the rural ones to develop the interest for the examination.

Note:

  • Students shall receive Admit Cards from their respective exam centres only.
  • Admit cards will be sent to the Exam Centres before 15 days of the exam.
  • Change in date, Venue and other exam related matters if any, are subject to the decision of ANTSE Board only.
  • All disputes shall be subject to Hojai jurisdiction only.
  • Request for re-checking of answer script will not be entertained.
  • The result will be published on our official website & Result Bulletin, Certificates & Cash Awards will be sent to Exam Centres/coordinators only.
