About The Program

2nd GNLU Essay Competition on Law and Society 2017 invites application for the applicants who are enrolled in graduation and post graduation in any discipline in a recognised university/college/institute in India to write an essay on the theme 'Toward Empowering The Indian Woman: Legal Reforms And Implementation' and can win up to Rs 15000, internship at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, certificate course.

Open to all graduation and post graduation applicants enrolled in any discipline in a recognised University/College/Institute in India.

How can you apply?

The application can be done by email with the following steps:
Step 1: Write an essay and it should be from 3000 to 5000.
Step 2: Attach a separate word document for details: sub-theme chosen, title of the essay, name(s) of the author(s), college/ institute/ university of author(s), programme enrolled & year of study of author(s), email address & contact no. of author(s).
Step 3: The essay may be attached in .doc or .docx format.
Step 4: Now email it with the subject ‘2nd GNLU Essay Competition on Law and Society, 2017’.

Terms and Conditions

Important:

  • The essays must be submitted in English only.
  • The essays should be the original work of the authors.
  • The essay should be from 3000 to 5000 words.
  • The essays should be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and Line Spacing 1.5.
  • The footnotes must be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and Line Spacing 1.
  • The margins should be 1' or 2.54 cm on all sides.
  • The name(s) of the author(s) should not be mentioned anywhere in the essay.
